Welcome Note
Invitation from the Chairpersons
The upcoming World Congress on Men’s Health and Gender Medicine is promising, for the first time, to be the greatest opportunity for all those interested in men’s health. This history-making meeting will be the largest, most comprehensive meeting with the broadest international outreach. Its multidisciplinary scope offers the richest program, which includes many highly relevant therapeutic areas from cardiology, urology, endocrinology, oncology, psychiatry, occupational medicine and others.
The opportunity is also well evident in its multidisciplinary international faculty, that includes key opinion leaders in the various fields and therapeutic areas. With over 1000 participants, this CME meeting will be the greatest opportunity for exchange of science and experiences.
The meeting proceedings will be delivered in multiple media and distributed broadly all over the world. Regardless of specialty and profession, no one interested in men’s health can afford to miss this historical opportunity for the advancement of men’s health. We are looking forward to the opportunity of collaborating with you and welcoming you in the wonderful city of Vienna.
Ridwan Shabsigh & Claude Schulman
Invitation from the President of the Society
The City of Vienna is highly delighted to be the venue of this meeting
and even more are we pleased because this meeting marks the 10th
anniversary of the Vienna Men’s Health Report 1999, which was the first
Men’s Health Report in the world! Therefore the International Society
of Men’s Health has made the strategic decision to convene in 2009 the
largest and most comprehensive meeting on men’s health with the
cooperation of several medical societies and institutes.
Advancing men’s health of all ages and in all parts of the world and
bringing people together in the cause of men’s health is the commitment
and mission of this meeting.
The leadership of the presidents of the meeting Professor Claude
Schulman and Professor Ridwan Shabsigh brings the greatest
international scope, the clearest vision and the broadest outreach to
participants. I am counting on the unwavering resolve of all those
interested in men’s health to support this meeting.
